About Youth for Life
Who are we?
Youth for Life at St. Francis of Assisi Parish is a group of young people who are dedicated to fostering and promoting a Culture of Life in our community.
What do we do?
The Youth for Life group participates in many prolife activities throughout the year, including the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., the ComfortCare Stride for Life, and Camp Joshua VA. We are involved in many service activities, including assisting our local pregnancy center and foster care system and witnessing to the sanctity of life outside local abortion clinics.
When do we meet?
Our meetings are ordinarily held on the first Sunday of every month in Columbian Hall, located in Assisi Hall at St. Francis Parish, at 1:00 p.m.

Beatified in 1990 by Pope John Paul II and named “The Man of the Eight Beatitudes,” Pier Giorgio teaches us that holiness is for everyone. His feastday is July 4, the date of his death in 1925.
