Members of Youth for Life traveled to Washington, D.C., for the 2013 March for Life. Youth for Life members ran in the Stride for Life to benefit ComfortCare centers for women. Approximately 60 young people attended the first Camp Joshua Virginia held in August 2012. St. Francis participants in the 2013 benefit Stride for Life get ready for the run. Welcome to the website of Youth for Life at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Staunton, Virginia. This group, an enthusiastic and growing part of the Respect Life ministry of the parish, meets once a month, usually on the first Sunday, to discuss life issues and plan prolife activities as well as have an enjoyable time together. As the focus of the group is on all concerns of the prolife movement, activities include praying at the Planned Parenthood facility in Charlottesville, traveling to Washington for the annual March for Life, raising money for ComfortCare for Women in Staunton by joining the Stride for Life each spring, visiting nursing homes, and more.
